How to Sign Up & Connect Your PMS

Market Pulse uses a streamlined process where signing up and connecting your first property happen at the same time through your Property Management System (PMS).

From the Market Pulse homepage, select your PMS provider from the list below and follow the authorization steps:

Connect with Cloudbeds

  1. You will be redirected to the Cloudbeds login page. Log in to your Cloudbeds account.
  2. Cloudbeds will ask you to authorize Market Pulse to access your property data. Review the permissions and click "Approve".
  3. Once approved, you will be redirected back to the Market Pulse dashboard. Your account is now created, and your property is connected.

Your initial data sync will begin automatically. This process pulls up to 5 years of your historical performance data and may take a few minutes to complete.

Key Features of the Integration

  • Main Dashboard: Get an at-a-glance view of your KPIs—Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR—compared directly against the market average.
  • Advanced Reporting: Dive deeper into your data with custom date ranges, flexible "Group By" modes, and Gross/Net tax toggles.
  • Automated Report Scheduling: Configure reports to be generated and emailed to you automatically in CSV format.
  • Team Management: Invite your team members to access the same property data, perfect for group accounts.

How to Disconnect the App

You can disconnect your property from either the Market Pulse application or from within your PMS.

Disconnecting from within Market Pulse:

(Note: This feature will be available in the "Profile & Settings" page.)

  1. Navigate to "Settings" from the left hand side-menu menu.
  2. Go to the "Connected Properties" section and click "Disconnect".
  3. Confirm your choice. This will permanently delete the link to this property and its API credentials from our system.

Disconnecting from within your PMS:

Is my hotel's data secure?

Absolutely. Your data is isolated and never shared individually. All competitor data is aggregated and anonymized, so your specific performance metrics are only visible to you.

Does this app make changes in my PMS?

No. Market Pulse has read-only access. Our application only reads the data required for analytics and has no permission to create, edit, or delete any information in your property management system.

How is "The Market" calculated?

The market is a competitive set of hotels with a similar quality tier (e.g., Midscale, Luxury) to your own. This ensures you're comparing your performance against true, like-for-like competitors.

How often is the data refreshed?

Your forward-looking data is automatically synced from your PMS every 24 hours to ensure you have the freshest insights each morning.

Why is the platform free?

Market Pulse is currently offered completely free as we build our user base and gather feedback. In the future, we may introduce optional premium features, but the core dashboard will remain free for early adopters.

How do I add another hotel to my account?

To connect additional properties, you must initiate the connection from within the PMS account for that specific property. Find Market Pulse in your PMS Marketplace for the new hotel and follow the connection steps. Once connected, it will automatically appear in your property switcher on the dashboard.

Can I request a new PMS integration?

Yes! We are always looking to expand our list of supported PMS providers. Please send your integration requests to our support email.
